How do I uncompress a zipped/compressed file?

Some times you may need to upload hundred of files to our server but it is a tedious job by using FTP.

Here is a simpler approach, we recommend our customers to use.
  1. Zip the files.
  2. Upload the zipped/compressed file via FTP.
  3. Login to cPanel account at http://{ip}/cpanel or http://yoursite.com/cpanel.
  4. Click "File Manager" under Files column.
  5. Select appropriate directory to open.
  6. Find your file and click on its name.
  7. Click "Extract" button.

It is recommended that you upload and uncompress the file in an empty directory/folder to avoid it from messing up with your existing files.
