How to create MySQL database and user

  1. Login to cPanel at

  2. Click MySQL Database Wizard

  3. Enter a new database name. The prefix is your cPanel username

  4. Click Next Step

  5. Create a new MySQL user by entering the username and password. The prefix of the username is your cPanel username

  6. Click Create User

  7. Assign the necessary privileges to the MySQL user on the database. Click All Privileges to allow full control

  8. Click Next Step

  9. You have successfully created a new MySQL database and assigned a user. You can now fill these details in the configuration file of your software.
